This Privacy Policy explains how Grubmosh (“the App”) handles information when you play on Android (and related builds). You do not create a Gimma account. By using the App, you agree to this policy. This policy is published at https://gimma.net/privacy.
1. Information we collect
Grubmosh is an idle tap game that pauses when the app is closed or in the background (no offline progress). We collect only what is needed to run the game, show ads, sync progress, and process purchases:
- Game progress (on device). Save data such as gold, upgrades, pets, prestige, New Game+ progress, and settings is stored locally on your device (for example via web local storage inside the App).
- Optional cloud save. If you sign in with Google Play Games / a Google account for cloud save, your progress may be stored with Google so it can sync across your devices. That data is handled under Google’s terms and privacy policy.
- Purchases. In-app purchases (for example gem packs) are processed by Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details. Google provides us the purchase confirmation needed to grant items.
- Advertising. The App shows rewarded ads through Google AdMob (and mediation partners such as Unity Ads where used). AdMob and its partners may collect the Android advertising ID, other device identifiers, IP address (approximate location, not GPS), device information, and ad interaction data to serve, personalize where allowed, measure, and prevent fraud on ads. Ad content is capped at Parental Guidance (PG) to match the App’s Everyone 10+ / PEGI 7 content rating — not Teen or Mature ads. Personalized ads may still appear where allowed by your settings and local law. Ad requests are not tagged for children and are not child-directed. The PG cap is a content filter only. It does not make the App a children’s or Families app.
- Diagnostics. Your device or store may provide crash or performance signals. We do not run a separate analytics SDK beyond what AdMob / Google Play provide unless listed in a later update to this policy.
2. What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or payment card details. There is no chat and no user-generated public content. We do not create a Gimma login. Optional Google sign-in is only for Play Games cloud save if you choose it.
3. How we use information
- To run gameplay, remember progress, and apply purchases or ad rewards.
- To sync progress when cloud save is enabled.
- To show rewarded ads within the PG (Parental Guidance) cap for a 13+ audience, including personalized ads where allowed, and to measure ad performance.
- To fix bugs, prevent abuse, and meet store / legal requirements.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that power the App:
- Google Play — distribution, billing, and (if used) Play Games cloud save.
- Google AdMob — rewarded advertising and mediation.
- Unity Ads (when mediated) — advertising under the same PG age / content limits, for a 13+ audience, not as a child-directed or Families placement.
These services process data under their own policies:
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- AdMob / Google advertising: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
- Unity Privacy: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
5. Audience and children
Grubmosh is intended for players 13 years and older. It is not directed at children under 13 and is not part of the Google Play Families program. Ads are not requested for a child audience.
The store content rating is Everyone 10+ / PEGI 7 (fantasy violence / fear from later scary maps; cartoon combat, no gore). That rating describes what is in the game. It is not the target age and it does not mean the App is made for children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will delete it where required.
6. Data retention
- Local save data stays on your device until you clear app data, uninstall, or reset progress in-game.
- Cloud save (if enabled) is retained according to your Google account / Play Games settings.
- Ad and purchase records are retained by Google, and by Unity when Unity fills an ad, under their policies.
7. Your choices
- You can reset or clear local progress in the App or by clearing app storage.
- You can turn off or limit ads personalization, and reset or delete the Android advertising ID, in your device Google advertising settings.
- You can avoid optional cloud save by not signing in to Play Games cloud features.
- You can request deletion of personal information we control by emailing the contact above (device-only local saves are deleted by clearing app data). For advertising data held by Google or Unity, use their ad settings or ask us and we will point you to the right request.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect game data. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Keep your Google account protected if you use cloud save or purchases.
9. International users
Google, AdMob, and mediation partners may process data on servers outside your country. Where required by law (for example GDPR / UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. Contact us to exercise those rights.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
